Texture and material construction: It's made of a very smooth, flexible silicone. It doesn't soak up lube like some silicone, and there's no drag to it, nor does it tend to pick up lint. While the picture makes it look like there's sort of a silver sparkle sheen over the whole toy, it's actually charcoal-black (as in the name) with a silvery silicone marbled throughout. Very easy to clean and sanitize.

Review Details: This purchase was my first foray into anal, and it was not at all a bad introduction. It's very slim with a gradual taper to it, and it's incredibly smooth; despite being my first anal toy I had no problem with it the very first time I used it. The base is very large, but unlike some other reviewers I didn't find it especially uncomfortable even when the toy is inserted all the way. That said, if you're looking for a plug that will stay put, this is not the toy you want. The neck is not nearly narrow enough to be effective. It will definitely work its way out gradually if you try to leave it there (or possibly shoot out at high speed, as happened to me at least once, so if you've got a partner with you they may want eye protection). Basically, this is much more of a tapered dildo than a plug. The neck is pretty much there for decoration.
