I haven't owned clamps before, and I really like these. The rubber tips prevent these from being TOO harsh, and they can pinch very tight, depending how you adjust them. The bells are fun when I'm on top!

Texture and material construction: Rubber tips grip pretty well.

Review Details: My boyfriend got these for us to try after trying several other clamp styles with no luck. The alligator type clamps will NOT stay on my fairly small nipples no matter what we do, at least not without hurting me TOO much! These tweezer style clamps are easy to adjust and have a good amount of pinch. Once on they are actually pretty comfortable...it’s the removal that is the most painful, YEE-OUCH! (But in a good way, if you are into that sorta thing!). I do not find them to be too heavy at all, in fact they are probably the lightest nipple clamps we have come across.

The bells are cute and add a little bit of whimsy. We both like the delicate tinkling noise they make when I squirm or when he flicks the clamps. They stay on fairly well, although they do occasionally slip off with too much movement or if you are bent over so they hang. I have a feeling this is more because of my small nipples than the product itself though, so your mileage may vary. We don’t have much of an issue with it; we just re-adjust and move on. Overall a fun product that we really like!

Texture and material construction: Rubber grip tips offer a pretty good grip, but they aren't textured or especially "grabby" so they can and sometimes do slip off. The metal rings that cinch the clamps closed sometimes slip a little with extended play. The weight of the clamps and bells wasn't too much for me.

Review Details: The boyfriend already had these when we met, and I wouldn't have picked them out, but they're a lot more fun than I would have thought. I really like that they're a painful decoration, and there's something really fun about something so silly and cute having such a nasty pinch. They hold on pretty well and the bells make a pretty, delicate tinkling noise. They grip best clamped to the side of my nipples rather than onto the front, so the bells stuck out to the side rather than in front of me. That may be different if you have differently shaped nipples.
