Ziggy Cup 2 - B - Hot Pink

The INTIMINA Ziggy Cup 2 in Size B, Hot Pink, is a reusable menstrual disc crafted from reinforced, flexible medical-grade silicone, designed to offer secure, leak-free protection for those with a higher cervix and light to heavy flows. This eco-friendly alternative to traditional pads and tampons supports mess-free period sex and provides up to 8 hours of continuous wear without the odors or irritation often associated with disposable products.

Engineered with user feedback in mind, the Ziggy Cup 2 features a distinctive ribbed tab that ensures slip-free removal, addressing a common challenge faced by users of standard cups. The disc shape allows it to sit lower in the vaginal canal, behind the cervix, which not only enhances comfort with its flat-fit design but also enables intimate activity during menstruation. The double rim creates a reliable seal to prevent leaks, while the 100% medical-grade silicone construction ensures the product is body-safe, hypoallergenic, and free from harmful chemicals like phthalates.

Using the Ziggy Cup 2 involves a straightforward folding technique where you squeeze the rim into a figure-eight shape with your thumb and forefinger. You insert the back rim first, angling the cup backward and slightly downward so it tucks behind the cervix. The front rim, which houses the ribbed tab, is then tucked behind the pelvic bone to secure the position. This placement allows the cup to collect menstrual flow effectively without disrupting the natural vaginal environment, offering a healthier option that avoids the dryness or irritation sometimes caused by tampons.

Removal is simplified by the ribbed tab, which allows you to hook your finger and gently pull the cup out while keeping it horizontal to minimize spillage. For long-term durability, the cup requires minimal maintenance: washing with mild soap and hot water before and after each use is sufficient for regular care. An initial boiling of 5 to 8 minutes before first use sterilizes the silicone, and periodic boiling can be performed as desired for a deeper clean, provided the cup is never boiled dry.

With a capacity of 76 ml (2.5 fl oz), Size B is specifically calibrated for heavier flows, making it a versatile choice for various stages of your cycle. The dimensions of 73 x 67 x 35 mm ensure a comfortable fit for most users with higher cervix positions. By choosing this reusable disc, you are investing in a sustainable, cost-effective solution that reduces environmental waste while providing superior comfort and reliability throughout your period.
