DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Connector

Much more fun than it might look!

I got this alongside other bondage items in the hope of being able to combine a leg harness and body harness for more options and it did a great job, making for much more intense bondage. In fact, it was so comfortable we forgot it was in place, and so handy that we looked for it to use in another way before realising that it was already attached! So probably buying another at some point. I’ve found this item for be really neat as it has allowed for new positions with other existing kit and I’m still exploring other ways of using it and find it’s great for enhancing my creativity and experimentation. Having the ring in the middle makes it much more versatile as it can be used at full or half length when extending/combining. (The other item needs to have a clip for it to be used at half length.) It can also be angled with use of a clip to the ring and both existing clips, though I’m yet to find a way of utilising this (sure I will though!) The simple black/silver colour scheme is handy as it doesn’t clash with any of my more colourful items. The material feels nice against my skin and the item gladly stands up for being strained hard against! It feels extremely sturdy, so is great for the more hardcore BDSMers out there - though there’s nothing advanced about using it so suitable for anyone who has wished they could change up their options with what they have. The only downsides I could see are more personal preference matters: It’s not vegan so not suitable for all. It would be better if this item came in colour options to match other LH ranges such as the red faux snakeskin items which I love. As always, Lovehoney’s service was great. I bought this hoping it would be the right length to clip between my anal hook and leather collar. It fits perfectly, forcing a gentle arch of the spine and allowing a small amount of movement, but not too much. (I am female, average height, so if you wanted to use it for this purpose and you are really tall it might be too short.) I really like the way the flat leather strap sits comfortably against my back. The central O-ring is extremely useful for passing chains through to secure hands behind back also. We've also used it to connect ankle and wrist cuffs together. It just has so many uses! I'm surprised this item won't be restocked and plan on getting another one or two.

The release-clips are strong and I don’t think they’ll open unless you want them to (which is easily and smoothly done by pushing down on the releases). The central ring is also pretty thick, so I think this would take a fair bit of force with absolutely no problem. The width of the connector matches exactly with the central straps of my other Dominix Deluxe products, so together they make a very good quality set of luxurious leather restraints, that I’m very pleased with. I love the luxuriously kinky look of the Dominix Deluxe range, and I find it really adds to BDSM play.
