OK, where to start with this review? I suppose I will start with the good things: It's a great lube. It's quite thin in viscosity so you can feel every bump and nodule on your toy of choice when using it. A little goes a long way - it doesn't take much to get things nice and slippery and as such the bottle lasts a long time. The bottle design. It has a long, thin nozzle which is great for getting the lube down inside the toy of your choice. It has menthol in it, which adds a little "something else" to the experience. Now onto the not so good: It drys out very quickly when not used with a toy. No biggie really, but sometimes you just want to lube up the old chap and bash one out - this is not the lube for that. The bottle design. The lid doesn't really seal the bottle so it does leak ever so slightly, so unless you store it upright then it can get a bit messy. It may also come off if you had it stuck in your toiletry bag so be aware. It has menthol in it, but not enough. I was disappointed by the lack of that mad menthol feeling you get from a menthol infused lube. It was there, but only in the background and sometimes it was so far in the background I may have been using ordinary lube. So, would I buy it again? Probably - it works really well with a sleeve type toy and it does have its "Wild" moments, although not enough. I would be tempted to decant it into another bottle though.

A pleasurable mess

When I bought my fliphole, I got a sampler of all three Tenga lubes with it. However this one I thought looked interesting, and I bought an entire bottle because I live for the risks in life. As far as I'm concerned, it was a risk well taken. For starters, I took the smart route many great pursuers of the finer lubes in life have forgotten, the patch test. Having smeared some on to the back of my hand, I immediately noticed that everything felt warmer. When I blew some air on to the back of my hand, it felt a pleasurable kind of searing hot. My skin tickled a little but, but it wasn't hugely noticeable. On to the true test. I started putting it in to my fliphole and watching as it rather quickly dispersed down the ridges and in to the gaps. It was quite watery. Still, it did add to the product, as I didn't need to use very much of it to slick up the entire toy. That's the first big positive. Next came usage. I put some of the lube on myself before use to make it easier to put on, and after a few seconds felt the familiar chill tingliness of menthol that you'd know if you've ever noshed on a piece of menthol gum. Strangely enough, instead of the heat on the back of my hand, everything felt cool at first. This was the point I started to notice the minty fresh smell of menthol. Perfect for masking the muskiness of a man who missed his morning shower. The toy very, very easily slid on with this lube, and it lasted quite some time. I didn't use very much, but I could still easily go for a half an hour session and it felt like it hadn't even been used. The actual "wild" sensation was a lot weaker and somewhat masked once the actual toy was being used. It was noticeable when I was taking a break, but it faded off once in use. As well as that, any and all excess lube thanks to it's liquidy nature slipped out drop by drop until there was a small puddle between my legs by the time I was done using it. Luckily for me, it had dripped down via the bumpy road that is my balls and boy, if there's one place that menthol is noticeable, it's down there. Thankfully, it was pleasant and only added to the experience. All in all, this is a great product worth the cost and feels preferable to regular lubricant. Just make sure you use exactly the right amount, or it's very, very easy to end up accidentally wasting. At the premium price, I don't think anyone wants that. Especially when so little goes such a long way.

Don't let the price put you off

this stuff is amazing best "sensation" lube iv tried when i put it on for the first time the effect was quick and really plesant for me and my partner iv also used it alone with my flip hole and my airtech and it works above and beoind the call of duty amazing sensations in the fliphole and an orgasm like i had never expirenced before when i used it with airtech it was longer and harder than normal my wife uses it with her toys aswell and says the same thing its a must have buy for tenga products it seems a bit expensive but a little goes a very long way protip; mix with a tiny bit of realfeel lube and it goes even further, if using with flip hole or airtech try running them under the cold tap before you use it the contrast in sensations is really something you have to try to belive! keep loving!! :-)

TENGA's Wild Lotion is purpose made for strokers. To start with, it has an incredibly thin consistency, which is great for ensuring it doesn't interfere with any sensations, but be careful while handling it or you can end up with it dripping everywhere due to its water-like nature. Additionally, it's infused with menthol, which can add some delicious tingles to the proceedings as well as lending the lube a slightly minty aroma and taste. Fair warning though, an unlucky few might find the pleasant warmth turns into an unholy burning, so patch-test it before going all-in. Finally, while it's perfect for strokers, it can provide its benefits to other toys too. It's not a smart choice for anal though - the consistency is less than ideal, but it's the menthol that makes it a really bad idea (it can numb things that shouldn't be). All in all it's great at what it does. It's a little pricey compared to other offerings, but it's worth it if you want what it provides.

In my experience, all Tenga products are of the very highest quality and their lubes are no exception. In my opinion, this "Wild" version is the best of the three Tenga "Hole Lotions". It is a bit thinner than either the "Real" or "Mild" versions which lets you feel every bump and really heightens the sensations you get from your toy. It also stays very slippery the whole time with absolutely no drying or tackiness. The taste is a little stronger than either the "Mild" or "Real" versions but it actually tastes quite good. You will more than likely just be using this with toys anyway so the taste is probably irrelevant. This is probably the best lube I have ever used, I wish it wasn't quite so expensive but you really do get what you pay for.
