Doc Johnson Black Cotton Rope In A Bag | 32' (9.75m)

The Doc Johnson Black Cotton Rope In A Bag offers 32 feet of smooth, natural fiber rope designed specifically for Shibari, Kinbaku, and general rope bondage enthusiasts. This single-length hank provides a versatile foundation for tying, binding, and exploring restraint play, coming packaged in a convenient resealable bag for easy storage and transport.

Crafted from 100% smooth cotton, this black rope is engineered to minimize friction and prevent chafing against the skin, making it a comfortable choice for extended sessions. The natural fibers offer a traditional tactile experience that many practitioners prefer for its grip and flexibility. Whether you are a beginner learning basic knots or an experienced rigger exploring complex patterns, this rope can be used as a single 32-foot (9.75m) length or cut down to create multiple shorter hanks tailored to specific needs. The ability to customize the length allows for greater versatility in your bondage setups, ensuring you have the right amount of material for any scenario.

Proper preparation and maintenance are essential for the longevity and safety of natural fiber rope. Upon receiving the rope, it is recommended to tie or whip the ends to prevent fraying and maintain the integrity of the fibers. After use, thorough aftercare with your partner is crucial, followed by proper storage to preserve the rope's condition. The included resealable bag is designed to keep the rope clean and organized; you can coil the rope and store it within this bag, or use it to keep multiple hanks neatly separated if you have cut the rope into smaller sections. Natural fiber rope degrades over time with use and exposure to elements, so regular inspection for wear and tear is advised.

While this rope is excellent for floor-based bondage, tying, and sensory play, it is important to note that natural fiber rope is not recommended for suspension play. The structural integrity of cotton degrades faster than synthetic materials under the constant, heavy load of suspension, posing potential safety risks. For suspension, dedicated synthetic ropes are required. However, for all other forms of restraint, this black cotton rope provides a reliable, aesthetically pleasing, and skin-friendly option. Its matte black finish adds a sleek visual element to your bondage scenes, while the smooth texture ensures comfort during intricate tying. By following proper care instructions and respecting the limitations of natural fibers, you can enjoy many sessions of safe and creative rope play with this versatile product.
