Lovehoney Hot Romance Pink Lace and Fishnet Basque Set

I was excited to be chosen to review the Lovehoney Hot Romance Basque Set so thank you Lovehoney! I already own quite a lot of Lovehoney lingerie and wouldn’t usually choose a basque so was excited to try something new. The product came in the usual outer plain discreet packaging and inside was a clear plastic bag with the basque set inside and a label attached stating the name of the product and it said it was in ‘one size’ which is usually from a size 8-16. I am usually a size 10/12 in lingerie so one size is usually fine for me. The first thing I noticed when opening the packaging was the colour of the basque- a hot pink colour. Usually, I would buy black or red lingerie but I loved this colour- perfect for date nights! I liked the material of the basque also- a mix of lace and netted mesh material. It was also super soft to the touch. It was easy to put on and looked great. I liked how it was quite strappy at the top and tied around the neck, also with straps around the cup area. I liked how the cup area had some support and also had the laced detailing covering some of the breast area but was still sexy. I also liked how there are bow details and it feels comfortable to wear yet sexy. The basque also has the bonus of detachable suspender straps and a matching netted mesh thong which definitely adds to the outfit. Overall I would definitely recommend the Lovehoney Hot Romance Basque Set - especially when buying it as a gift or to wear on a hot date night!

Gorgeus

I am a 5.5, size 10, cup 34 B / C and this One size fits me like a glove. This set has a Red, different to any other lingerie set you can find in LH. This bustier does not offer any support for the breasts, so is perfect for people like me, who do not have too much breast. Also, like all basques, it is perfect to hide my mummy tummy, so when I put it on it gave me a confidence bust instantly. All my insecurities and imperfections disappeared. The design stylises my hips and highlights my boobs. Undoubtedly, one of the best LH designs. The matching thong is beautiful. Simple but with a design that highlights my ass. In bed, I had never felt so sexy. It is washed and dried very quickly which is also an added plus. Overall, a set totally different from everything you imagined and that will make you feel very, very sexy. Totally recommended.

So so sexy

I was lucky enough to be sent this in exchange for an impartial review. The colour is a deep reddish jewel pink which I LOVE and the whole thing is very well-designed. I think my favourite bit is the hooks on the cups, which lets them come down. Very sexy! The fit is excellent, the material is stretchy and clings to everything. I sometimes have problems with lingerie that is one broad sized as my waist is a fair bit smaller than my hips and ribs, so the fabric tends to cling to my chest and hips and miss my waist. So for anyone else who has that problem, you'll probably be fine with this. Another thing I appreciate is that it stretches lengthways. I'm on the taller side and often find things are a little short, but that’s not a problem for this. In fact, when it was on, I couldn't tell it’s one size fits all. It looks like it's exactly my size and I think that will be true for most people. An advantage when buying something online! I'm very impressed by the construction on this piece. As mentioned most of it seems to rely on stretch to allow the different fits, but the bust support has an adjustable back. Between that, the underwire and adjustable halter-neck strap it's really very supportive. I love the suspenders. Adding stockings looks drop dead gorgeous, but without something to hold it down I found the basque rode up. However, I also found that you can attach the suspender straps to each other between your legs and problem solved! The G-string works very well with the rest of the ensemble, and is perfectly comfortable, though the label shows through the mesh at the front, but cuts off okay. Lastly, I love love love the criss-cross straps on the bum. So flattering!

When I first took this out of the packaging I thought it would be too small but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on, it fit perfectly. I love the colour, makes me feels really sexy. Easy to adjust, crotchless so easy access One of my fave pieces of lingerie :D

Great if your boobs behave themselves

I love basques, but hate hook and eye fastenings, so I really appreciate that this one has the adjustable strap on the back as it means you can get it on and off easily, either by undoing the hook or just by having the slider a little looser. The material itself is pretty stretchy. I am a size 18/20 and the queen size fits me really well. The thong fits well to, although it isn't really much to write home about. The material is pretty soft and so comfortable to wear. It feels well made and of a good quality. The strapping is all varying degrees of elastic but is definitely up to the job of keeping everything where it should be. There is no boning or anything to keep the shape. This isn't a big problem for me but if you are looking for something very structured, this isn't it. However, that does mean it is more comfortable to move around it and even sleep in. The only real issue I have with the basque is the bra cups. Thanks to the halter neck, it is really easy to tie it up to get the support you want and for the underwire to be sitting where you need it. However, the lace cups themselves just aren't quite big enough for my boobs. I have E cup boobs and they tend to go wherever they want so I do find myself falling out of the sides triangle. Tucking myself in just makes them look squashed (and still fall out of the sides at the same time). If you have smaller boobs than mine and/or they sit where they are supposed to without too much help, then this would probably be a great basque for you. I really do love the concept of being able to open the cups, and I will say that the cups do feel secure and not like they are going to pop open at any minute. Although when you do put the lace down, it does remind me a little of a doily. Overall, this is a really good piece of lingerie; it is easy to put on, comfortable to wear, a great colour and 2 awesome ways to reveal your boobs (either by undoing the cups or simply untying the halterneck) but, for me, the cups are just too small. If I do wear this is in the bedroom, I think I may just start with the cups opens.

Romantic and hot

We were sent this set in exchange for an honest review.  My wife generally wears a 40DD bra, and size 18/20 knickers. The colour is nice shade of pink, nice to see something a bit different.  This was the first time we've ever had a crotchless G string and we were not disappointed! The opening is large enough to allow full access with having to pull the string to one side, it's quite comfortable and is well sized. The bra has an adjustable slider on the back which my wife found a bit fiddly to do herself, but did allow a fair bit of adjustment for different back sizes.  The halterneck tie top is always nice, but again can be a bit fiddly to tie. The support offered was fairly minimal, but you would expect that from this type of bra. That said my wife said it was comfortable during our lockdown dinner date, but she wouldn't want to wear it all day.

Loved this so much fit perfectly but you need the stockings to complete the look! I wore it without stockings and you don't get the full effect of the Criss cross back detail without it. Other than that very happy with purchase. I'm a medium usually and got the one size 4-12 and it fit perfectly!

Ordered the one size 8-16. I’m normally a size 8-10 AU/NZ, 8-10D bust, 167cm tall, 60kg. This set looks nice, I had to tighten the neck quite a bit so that my boobs would look perky - it’s nice that you can customise the fit in this way. You can loosen the back area too. Though, I’m unsure whether it is accurate with the ‘one size’, the underwire does support my sized boobs, however, I’m not sure if it would be that supportive for the girlies blessed with bigger sizes. It’s nice how the cups can be unhooked for a cheeky flash. Nice quality fabric too, it seems like it could be pretty stretchy. If you’re on the taller side like me then there’s plenty of fabric to cover the torso. Very cute piece. I bought it because it was on sale, I think I would buy it full price - a black version would be cute.
