Sportsheets Expandable Spreader Bar and Cuffs

My significant other and I are slowly dipping a toe into bondage. This great little device made a fab addition. The included cuffs are comfortable and easy to apply. The 'spread' is adjustable and provides a good amount of restraint without being too intimidating. It's well made, doesn't feel like it'll fall apart any time soon and easy to store as it breaks down to three parts. If you're already looking at this page you're going to like it!

At this point I can safely say I have thoroughly tested this spreader. From both ends of being in it and having someone else in it. As someone who is fairly flexible, I had no issue with the smallest size or setting compared to the full expand. My partner, who is not as flexible, was ok with the starting size, though was not fully ready to expand it on last use. I looked at several bars and have been wanting one since Fifty Shades. I picked this one because I prefer the easy of simply having a button pushed in and pulled to expand. Makes for a smoother motion. A lot of the other ones have pins that need to be removed to adjust then reinsert. It's fairly light but seems pretty durable, and I'm a fairly strong bigger girl and I really tugged at it. It also has a great centre ring that you can attach cuffs to, so it binds more than legs. As someone who gets a bit creative this can very easily become worlds of fun as long as you can imagine it. The centre ring is also fairly tough too. The cuffs that come with it are pretty good too, fairly soft but not too soft. I have fairly large ankles and they easily worked my personal tastes differ a bit, but I have played with these ones and will again. They are also very easy to swap out as the bar as the rings the cuffs the clip.

Quick and easy to apply. Makes for extra fun anywhere without the need a bed/door for restraints. Ankles or wrists. My husband loves the 3 settings and puts him in total control, quickly. Lying down - one quick flick of the wrist and you're flipped over! Such a turn on!

Great product, handy for the portable toy bag

I purchased this as I wanted a spreader bar I can put in my toy bag when I go out. It splits into 3 pieces and simply slots together again when ready to use. It's adjustable so you can decide on how wide you want to use it. The cuffs it comes with are comfortable.

Quite simply does what it says on the box. Easy to put on and adjust, seems solid and the clips provide the flexibility of putting the cuffs on first and separately to the bar. Great for a bit of fun. The Velcro ankle straps are great, soft with good strength to the Velcro, we’ve gone on to buy similar cuffs having realised how nice they are. My only gripe is the noise of the clips against the metal. I can’t think of anything at all that can be done about this, but it sounds a little bit like putting up a tent pole at times. I think to get around that you need to spend 2 / 3 times the money, or buy a fixed bar, which is significantly less convenient. Overall very happy.

Doesn’t Work for Big Thighs

It’s comfortable, but I can easily close my thighs on the longest setting. I need an additional foot or more. Because I can close my thighs, there’s no point in using it, so it was a waste. If you are plus size or have large thighs avoid this item.
