While I am not sure Octavia's shore hardness, the outer layer of the toy is very pillowy and soft. The inner core feels like the same diameter throughout the entire length of the toy, it offers some rigidity while thrusting, but it's fairly deep beneath the soft outer layer making me wonder if the toy design really benefits from a dual-density (when it could be single density and achieve much of the same feeling). The actual insertable length is closer to 6.25" instead of the mentioned 7". It's a versatile toy for anal play with a gentle space between the bulbs that facilitates thrusting. It can also stand straight for sitting. Despite the shorter length, I'm happy with the craftsmanship, stubble sparkle coloration, and the toy's ability to be used both for thrusting and stretching/graduated play.
